In one word, disappointing!
There is a kahani mein twist -- the kidnapping episode -- but you don't feel giving a taali to that either. Sure, DE TAALI has a few engaging and enjoyable moments, but it's akin to an oasis in a desert.
Comic movie with fresh treatment
I have a feeling the writers were quite excited about this movie to begin with. But at some point, either the devils of fiction took over or, they just left the remaining sheets of the screenplay completely blank. I had to sit through this. You may not have to.
A ho-hum film with funny moments few and far between
Good performances and a few punchy dialogues alone don’t make an interesting rom-com if the plot and direction is lackluster. After all, it takes two to clap. De Taali is not an out-and-out comedy. It is a breezy, bouncy, bumbling romantic movie about three friends and a scheming siren.
De Taali deserves its taalis
De Taali, as director E Niwas puts it, is a crazy roller coaster ride about three friends, a world where life is defined by friendship and love. And the film deserves its taalis.
